BOOK CLUB - The first Thursday of each month at 7.30pm. Come and join our group of book readers to read and discuss books you have read or reading.. its a social evening for book lovers... all welcome. The next is on Thursday 1st May 2025.
QUIZ NIGHTS - The Last Sunday of every month 8.00pm to 10pm. NEXT QUIZ will be on 27th April.
Maximum of 6 per team - bring a team or join one on the night.
Prize for the winning team, Free entry. Raffle tickets sold on the night in aid of 'Help for Heroes' to Win £20.00 Voucher to redeem at Pear Tree Inn.

Thursday 8th May - VE Day - 7.00pm onwards....
We will be having a celebration of VE Day commencing at 7.00pm with a Light Supper and have some Live Wartime Music from Stacey Lynn singing from 8.00pm till around 10.00pm. Price per person will be £10.00 and you must book in advance so we know how many to cater for. Please advise us of any Dietary requirements at the time of booking. We hope you will join us to commemerate this historic occasion. The supper will be Pork & Sausage Stew and Potatoes (a dish served during wartime so I'm led to believe).

Thursday 22nd May 2025 - from 7.30pm - An Evening Talk from Derbyshire Blood Bikes with Steve Rainbow.
On 1st February 2024, Derbyshire Blood Bikes came to give a presentation on everything they do. Unfortunately, there were numerous people who wanted to attend and weren't able to - and have since asked if I could get them back in. As you can imagine, they are a busy organisation but I have finally secured a date for them to return. I hope that those who did't make it last time will be able to attend this time round. A very interesting talk on how they operate, what the transport and a chance to see one of the bikes close up (which we bring into the pub). All Welcome - Free Admitance.
